Jane Coombe, Strategic & Programme Consultant at Wordworks Jane please let us know re the below -

The sites you have given us:

https://littlestars.org.za/
https://wwhomeliteracy.org.za/
https://www.wordworks.org.za/
https://wnw.wordworks.org.za/

We had a look at the site map and believe you have covered what you have on these sites on the new site map - our only questions

1. Shine - we see you have referenced it on the site map - is that all that is needed and if so will we redirect the site to the new Wordworks site going forward? It is not on your list of sites but it is referenced on https://wnw.wordworks.org.za/
We see however, when you click through you need to be a member so is that the same material as the original Shine site or is it something else?

2. Partners portal on this site https://www.wordworks.org.za/  - is that covered in the partner dashboard conversations to come or how does this fit in?

Hi Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian

The static Shine legacy site - Shine -  is NOT intended to become a WW site.

We have undertaken to host it however and
1. must find a way to cross reference from our site to theirs in acknowledgement of their gift.  Roule Le Roux, Designer at Unfold Roule proposed this acknowledgement could be included in a footer in the Resources section of our site which seemed nice.
2. Yes, please, you we will need to redirect their links to the new Wordworks site going forward in sections such as this one.

Still shining on
Where to find Shine’s resources and materials
You can find Shine’s resources and materials on the Wordworks website. As part of its sunset, Shine committed to open-sourcing its programmes and key resources so that they can be used and adapted by others. To that end, Shine has partnered with Wordworks to give its materials a home and to maintain them into the future.
Wordworks’ new early literacy resource hub will launch in 2025. Until it is live, you can email info@wordworks.org.za to access Shine Literacy Hour games, training materials and other resources.

3. As they say in their site, until our website is live, people need to contact WW via info@.  When they do this, we connect them through to our current Partner Portal https://wnw.wordworks.org.za/   and give them access to the materials they need.  In the new site these will be re-organised in line with the plan for the resource hub.

* the original Shine site* - not sure which site you mean by this, so hope I haven't missed something

4. The issue of how we manage partners  includes (i) how we give them access to materials currently here https://www.wordworks.org.za/  (ii) how partners plan (LMS and events?) and track (dashboard?) their WW journey

Happy to jump on a call, or can be a topic for the next short Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian  meeting?
Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital
Jane Coombe, Strategic & Programme Consultant at Wordworks Jane thanks, I am trying to make sure all the information you have on your sites is catered for - I understand what's happening for Shine, as long as you are happy with the way its being treated and the considerations agreed with Roule, we are good.

I am not clear on the partners portal but it sounds like the meeting you are going to have with Ian, Rowen and Roule will deal with this, please confirm that I have this correct

Thanks
