Assigned to
Jane Coombe, Strategic & Programme Consultant at Wordworks Jane C.
Notes
Please give some thought to the subfolders you would like to use for the ecommerce and learning websites.

  • The main website and resource hub will live on wordworks.org.za
  • The ecommerce site could be on wordworks.org.za/shop, for example
  • And, learning might live on wordworks.org.za/learning.

Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian - We are happy with the main site name and the shop name ..however the learn name is complicated as follows.....

Something that came up yesterday with Unfold - are we sure as we can be that we are going to manage partnership workflow on the LMS

IF SO, Three related points (the last about the name)

a) Unfold and we needed to be sure we were ok not to have site mapped the partnership workflow

b) Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn we would like to request a proper discussion with Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian Ronel van Heerden, Designer at Unfold Ronel Roule Le Roux, Designer at Unfold Roule Rowen Ravera-Bauer, Technical advisor at Wordworks Rowen , myself and Paulene to really be sure we know how we are planning to manage WNW partnership annual cycles of services/ activities/ reporting. (our slides on WNW workflow submitted towards end of Discovery refers)

c) This decision affects the naming of the site.   My team had proposed wordworks../courses instead of learn and I had thought this was clear.  However, IF we are going to also on LearnDash it is NOT a great label after all.

Thanks Jane Coombe, Strategic & Programme Consultant at Wordworks Jane when would you like this conversation to happen? We can ear mark some time this week so please let me know when you have a gap, I am thinking Friday on this side but will need to check in with Ronel van Heerden, Designer at Unfold Ronel Roule Le Roux, Designer at Unfold Roule   Would say 11 am work for you on Friday the 27th? If not, please suggest a suitable time - thank you - Anna van der Westhuizen, Project Manager at Unfold Anna  FYI
Rowen Ravera-Bauer, Technical advisor at Wordworks
Hi Robyn, just to note that I'm on leave this week but feel confident that you can go ahead without me on this one :)

Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian , I'll join your meeting with our Salesforce Team later this week.
Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital
Rowen Ravera-Bauer, Technical advisor at Wordworks Rowen  apologies, that slipped my mind! If everyone's okay to proceed, we'll keep the suggestion for the 27th for now.  Enjoy your leave, Rowen!

Hi everyone, sorry I've been head down in a manuscript this long weekend.  I don't think we should go ahead on the conversation without Rowen as she had a lot of very clear thinking about partnership and dashboard management.  Also not without Paulene who has just landed in hospital with a broken leg (eina).  I think it would be best to schedule for after the school holidays, but would need to be guided Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn   Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian
as to whether this is going to hold things back.  Thanks, Jane

Jane Coombe, Strategic & Programme Consultant at Wordworks Jane thanks for your messages - we are sorry to hear about Paulene, hope she feels better soon - we can delay the meeting but as I stated on the chat, I am not sure how all of this affects the timeline but an educated guess would tell me that its going to push us back.  I have suggested a meeting for tomorrow which should clear things up - either way you need a specific set of people in the mix who are not available so please let me know if I can schedule something for next week - maybe the 3rd or 4th of October -

Thanks
Robyn

Thought Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn that I should just note here that we did meet on 9th Oct to discuss how to manage partnerships and that Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian  has gone away to think how best to do this and to what extent his solution is going to change the nature of the Learn site (ie will we manage partners' annual programme of engagement with WW through the LMS platform or not).  This will enable us to make a decision on whether we can call this the Learn site or not .. which is why this task is still pending.  Make sense?
Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital 🙌 tks Jane!
