Wordworks

Ideas in from Wordworks team

FROM OUR FORMER DIRECTOR, SHELLEY
It is so great that there is a growing list of research briefs and evaluation reports on the Wordworks website, but often when I need to give a link to a series of briefs, it feels as if I need to add a note to say: scroll down to find these briefs/reports. I was recently on the Mikhulu Trust website and thought that the structure they used for sharing research was quite helpful and easy to navigate:

Funda Wande uses tiles which means you can see more studies without scrolling: https://fundawande.org/news?i=4

We should look at the We Buy Cars or Getworth websites for a very interesting user flow that seems to manage navigation through drip fed list of prompt questions...
are you interested in this/ that...
and then the next prompt.

They have a very similar target demographic to us

Shell says: Look and feel not very inviting, but fairly unsophisticated and easy to navigate.

Twinkl (an international resource organisation w a SA branch) has some practices we may want to look at .. https://www.twinkl.co.za/
I liked that on their home page they are clear that registering is free. They have loads of follow up emails (maybe too many), lots of searches (maybe too many) and their pages are very busy
