Roby – Please check events:

I am not sure all the elements are working properly because we don't have much to work with so please take a post and play with it
I added an image that was not pulling through and not sure how to make the RSVP link go away seeing as it was a closed event
feels like this space needs work so please check critically and flag issues with both Dave and Ian who may have solutions.

Issues:

The RSVP button does not disappear when there is no link applied. If an event is in the past the RSVP link should expire or disappear or have a message saying something like: "This event is over". Or, if the link is removed in the back there should be no button in the widget:

In the back, there is space for the "Event speaker" intro, a link and image, but nothing shows up when there is info added. I've added dummy info into this event under Event speaker to illustrate: https://iib.dev.umn.edu/events/governor-victoria-visit-university-minnesota-june-6-northrop
The link for "Event resources" does not show up on the front end. I've added a URL and link text but no button appears on the post: https://iib.dev.umn.edu/events/governor-victoria-visit-university-minnesota-june-6-northrop

for the first issue, I'd say let's just remove the link if the event is in the past.

please add a condition to remove the RSVP button if there is no link.
