Functionality required
- Knowledge base. Provide users with easy access to technical information about GEMS services.
- Form submissions trigger the following:
- Admin email
- Submitter email
- Add row to Google sheet
- Platform support
- Send email to MSI: help@msi.umn.edu, Subject: GEMS Platform {case # or name}
- User / admin emails can trigger updates to sheet
- Admin can send email with case number to specific email address to update status
- Undergrads and grad RAs should be able to respond to tickets
- Form submissions from users go into spreadsheet
- Form submissions are emailed to a Google Group (requires OIT support to set up)
- Any user can then reply on that email and CC the group
- Users can add a filter on their account so that group emails go into a separate folder, not their inbox
Proof of concept
I’d like to build a quick proof of concept to show how this might work. I need the following:- Desired group name and email address for Sensing shared inbox group
- Confirm if we should create a group for general GEMS enquiries as well, or continue forwarding all enquiries to you, Kris.
- Confirm that the functionality described above will fulfil all your immediate needs.
You might receive the zip files with the exported information (or it might go to Kris ) please let me know if you receive it
