Laura  please confirm this task for us - it looks like newsposts need to be in the related topics space vs just a styling change? Please confirm that we have this correct?

Robyn yes, the related topics section can contain News posts, events, research posts, and other stand-alone pages (like services, etc) This is essentially a catch-all for any related content to the information of the current page. Let me know if that makes sense, or if you and David  wanna chat :)

Laura do they select the related posts (we previously had pages not posts) so this is a largish change for David  and want to double check that its not automatically related (so you have to select)

As far as I understand the related posts section in the backend is a field where you type the post/page title and options appear in a dropdown. Let me double check

Heres a nice post with 3 selected posts for related topics (research and news) https://msi.umn.edu/news-and-events/msi-news/neonicotinoids-minnesota-water

In the backend, the uploader would need to type out the post they want to be included and select from the available results:
