Very similar to the new events page, but a complete change from the current site functionality on tutorials.

  1. Filter with a big "Filter" button
  2. Featured tutorial
  3. The default view is all upcoming tutorials from the current date, including months ahead.
  4. There is a link to the individual tutorial page (this is not currently available on the site – The intention is for tutorials to have their own pages using this template: https://xd.adobe.com/view/6203a662-6367-493c-88c0-3090751c3d1e-3750/screen/3945773c-e542-4148-93f2-2d01120cf34f – where they want to include info about the upcoming tutorial and past recordings of the tutorial. The tabs may also include other information, like downloadable assets, info about the hosts, etc. Here is a task for us to get this info from the client – Get content for individual tutorials - MSI )
  5. The second button goes directly to DORS where visitors can register.
  6. Below the feed, we need a button linking to a Google calendar (external link)
  7. this is followed by three more sections containing info, links to partner tutorials and badges.

  • Drop featured post when filtering
  • When there is a featured post on default, we need to build something to exclude said feature from the feed view

Laura Hurley, Designer, UX and Engagement Specialist at Matogen Digital Laura  quick check on this one - is the calendar view finalised or do we need to consider the other event calendar changes here too?

Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn  I think it would be good to consider the changes we want to implement on Events here too! Thanks for catching that. Let me also have a look at the current tutorials and see if there are any that run over several days

All of the available tuts are only one day. But I can't see details on the courses that have not been renewed... so its difficult to say if any would be more than one day/session

Tutorials landing page with pages for each tutorial underneath it, as well as button to register, pull through old information from past tutorials and recordings

24 hours available for this one

David Mundell, Developer at Matogen Digital David   In addition to Lau's brief, we need to add a button that links to a simple page that has a list of Tutorials - something like this page https://msi.umn.edu/our-resources/tutorials/tutorials-fall-2024

The list of past tutorials will individually link back to their individual Tutorial page that will have all the resources in tabs.

I am open to suggestion about where we add this button, but was thinking Below the MSI Tutorial and Training content / above Other Training Resources Heading.

" See Past Tutorials" A red button like we have throughout the site
Thanks so much
