There are white margins on the left and right, also the close icon (x) is in the right margin and needs to be in the box:

I also need to look into why "ICT" is selected.. the box should say "Industry" which is the current label, and then a user can make a selection. Is that something you need to look at?
The placeholder took so long but I managed it get it to work. There is no option to add a place holder like that but I found a work around. We should probably remember this as a reference if we need to do it again.
Can you please see if its everything working for you now? you might need to clear cache
