  • Would like to understand what conversion tracking is in place. With you using PMax, it will be critical that high quality lead data is being fed into Google Ads. If not this will result in low quality leads
  • What is the current management fee you are charging. On our side our Retainer is R15,000 per month. We would also need to ensure a robust tracking system is in place (e.g. integrating CRM data into Google Ads), if this is not done already
  • Generally for a non-eCommerce campaign we would start with Google Search from a quality lead perspective and expand to PMax once we have enough good databases pulling back in. Just keen to hear more about your approach
  • The size budget is fine and enough for a single paid media platform. It is important to understand what the success metrics are (e.g. Cost Per Quality Lead)

I see Karen mentions in her email and on the Miro board that she wants the Explore topics to be updated. That is not in our current scope. 

Maybe the two of us do need to work through this together so we don't miss anything, and then give feedback to Karen. It's probably okay to go ahead with the rest of the prototype, but it looks like Karen is misunderstanding the clearly defined scope as a free for all

 its not something new, its the same issue, not clear on the areas and topics and how they are going to play out - this is the same issue we had before so I have asked Ronel to give me feedback - I think we should move forward at this point. Each time we speak she brings up something new -maybe the topics quiz can be reworked to showcase impacts - there's impact areas, that have topics and those topics also have impacts - again, I think they are getting themselves into a tizz - we need to get the prototype up with the areas and topics that are available

  I gave Jamie all my thoughts about Tips and Tricks, some of the examples from Rodney and a blog idea and concept for the newsletter - I have asked her to let me know if she can help and take it forward from here - I have grabbed that Agentic AI topic for our blog this month - we can weave in the roadmap, the new zambia office with the gikko story (extra cheese), and that Gikko will be at the Zambia Digital Summit - I think its more than enough to give our Gikko client base lots of value. Just waiting on Jamie and will then reach out to Michelle for editing assistance on the newsletter and blog (but may need more if Jamie cannot help) One Gap we have is for a lovely image to use on What's App - it feels to me that it should be a Gikko header so that there's an immediate association that its Gikko vs a rando reaching out on what's app - please let me know your thoughts here so I can see if I should try to ask Jane or if we can wing it with the images etc we have available

 i am going to ask James some questions but there's a lot to consider for this to be executed properly - I don't even think we have phone numbers stored for clients, only email addresses so Opt in for what's app coms if we want to send it using infobip - if we load the newsletter onto the site with the intent of sharing it via what's app how does this work without infobip? We'd still need consent but I am not sure how this is going to work

will you give some thought to the new blog this month - I want to check if I need to try and get Michelle onboard - I think its going to be tricky for her to write it - Jamie and I will pull the newsletter together but the blog will inform it - Winston and Rodney spoke about the first newsletter being about 'getting the most out of specific features' so I think it will be challenging for most to write this - I will use our next meeting to gather a bit more insights - they mentioned character limits not being maximised on messages so people could include some additional information on the message - I am not sure what we would recommend in this instance as slipping in marketing into a transational message might be a bit taboo - not sure what you think and I guess it depends what you are are adding.  They also mentioned their what's app bot and that people can consider bots for support. Is this something you can take on or shall I see how to onboard Michelle to write this for us?

Ok so I see the issue, with the css, there is a specific elementor-post-17-css file that is missing on initial load, when we do the cache busting it brings back that file. I'm trying to figure it out

I think it will be a nice way to manage the tasks for sure, but would be interested to see if they will take to basecamp. I think your comment about them having too many tools to work with could be a factor.. and one has to get into the swing/remember to check - but email notifications will help with that. How do you find it with Wordworks? That is a big group to manage and wonder if too many cooks is making its noisy.. though Gikko would probably just be us, Win and Rod. I think its worth a shot :)

I think I got it to work. I must just test. I stole the migrate file from valleysprings by using the other exporter 🤯I needed the paid version because the size was tool large for the new exporter.

my issue is the two blogs at the end - we said we'd use one so we can bank the other one for next month - I am sure they will be happy but we then have to produce another blog next month - we have agreed to one a month, share on social, etc - Not sure if you have already put the second one up for social as well? Thanks Ian! Thought so - we can target people who behave in a certain way but we cannot see who they are specifically without them giving us that permission through a contact of sorts. Got it

We can't see personally identifiable info on Google Analytics. So short answer, no :) 

Using a CRM like Fresh or HubSpot, we would be able to collect some data, but we would always need a first interaction from the potential customer before we can capture any useful data.

an usual request here - this is a targeting effort when using google ads I am guessing ?- retargeting the people who look your ads vs you can see who is looking at your site and reach out to them which would be an invasion of privacy I imagine 

Quick one - In terms of Analytics, is there a way we can get information on who is hitting our website and the pages they are looking at so we can reach out to them (discreetly :-) (something similar to what Techtarget does, getting to find out who is researching about us and so forth).

I think it would be a mix of people who signed up (if they have a newsletter signup) and existing clients' email addresses

 we dont have a view on the email platform so we still need to figure out how to build a newsletter in there? Is this something you can handover to lau to do on Monday or how is that part going to work? Also, do we have the contacts to download? I am guessing we need to get this off mailchimp - do we have what we need for this?
