Hello SMC Users,As you know, the SMC Admins are working to clean up our contacts/subscribers throughout Marketing Cloud. To help ensure you are not accidentally sending to outdated subscribers and to assist SMC in working more efficiently, we are asking you to clean up old/unused Data Extensions.You can do this by clearing the data within a data extension, then deleting:
- In Email Studio > Subscribers > Data Extensions, Select your unused DE
- On the Records tab, click the blue "Clear Data" button (right side)
- Click the trash can button (top right) to delete the extension
Please note: clearing the data from the DE before deleting is important as it allows other processes to move more quickly.This is a good process to go through on an annual basis as it will help keep your data clean and up-to-date.Thank you,SMC Admins--
