Hey β@robyn , I haven't finished this one off yet. I still need to check the second phase of the Salesforce work flow. I havent gone back to it since Monday when I was waiting for Melissa's reply. I did test the first section and I updated the senders emails to dsl and not rc as Hayley asked for.

we'll need to request access from someone at UMN -
David
would be great if you can reach out to Melissa for this.
In the meantime you might have to use David's account?

Update:
We are waiting on Mel from UMN team to assist with access, David has reached out to them as I am unable to access salesforce account on both mine and
David
s account despite using the access links to clear the sessions.
May we please send out a request to have a group created please.
Ian has suggested that we change the process so that the form is received through the Google group where the team can attend to the request as they wish. He did try to update it but denied him. This is the documentation we were trying to follow.
Ian
have you spoken to Hayley about this solution - I am happy to requests a group so let me know if I need to close the loop with her here too - thanks
Robyn
no I haven't discussed this with Hayley, but I think it would be a good solution for them. Their need is very similar to Sensing, I think, and it will be easier for Hayley and co to manage incoming requests in a shared mailbox.

i am pretty sure I spoke about this but to close the loop in writing, Hayley would like to try out the google group so we may proceed with this

I've asked Hayley to create the group for us.
Log in with your UMN account to get access to the group
Update the webform on DSI to send an email to this group
Create thank you emails to send to the form submitter; I think we may have done these in SalesForce, but they should now be handled on the DSI site
You can have a look at how I've set it up on the GEMS Contact Us form; and let me know if I should do a quick demo.

Ian
thank you for the demo this morning, I am able to login and I see we don't have a Thank you email on dsi. Please let me know if theres resources to guide me to create one.

Actually, I realise now we should have a thank you email in the SalesForce journey.
David
would you be able to share this with
Xoliswa
? It might need a bit of adjusting, but should be a good place to start.

Hey
Xoliswa
,
Please see the templates we have available from salesforce. I have copied the html for you to view and placed it in their own documents. Hopefully this will be more convenient as salesforce is a bit slow today:
I have set up the thank you email and the send to DSI support but I am not getting the email or seeing the request come through in the Google group.
I want to check the mailer how it looks , I used the get in touch from the example above. I don't know its cache or of there is another issue. I have checked against GEMS and it seems all is on order.
Ian
may I please check these settings and let em know if you can spot where I may have gone off?
I've also removed the condition on that email handler, but not sure if it should actually be there.

Oh alright, no problem, I saw they had the condition for the salesforce so I thought to implement it. Thank you

Update: I have tested and I do see the mails coming through, I just needed to resolve the variable not coming through and displaying as is instead of the user name.
Ian
please let let me know if you are happy with the Thank you email of if I can improve it in any way.
