Yes, I see what you mean that now the subtitle looks fine, now the styling is realigned (re the orphan).

 

Thanks for adding the facility for the short chapter description on the homepage.

 

The update to the header is definitely in the direction the ODI approver was requesting re putting the title on the transparent background and I think that part of it is quite successful.

 

I think her proposal was that the edges of the white transparent box would not be hard lines as you have them, and that the logos would run alongside (eg be tucked flush with) the header title, either on the side of or just hovering above that title, so that the transparent white box would not take up the entirety of the height of the header banner but just about one third or one half the height of the header banner. The transparent white box would also not necessarily run all the way up to the bottom margin of the header banner but could be inset slightly.

 

It's hard for us to know if this would work unless you just try it out (sorry). Would you mind trying just so we could see if that idea is viable? I am not sure, I have attached a mock-up.

 

The other idea would be to separate the white transparent background of the logos into one slim rectangle at the top of the header and then make another slim white transparent rectangle to ‘house’ the title at the bottom of the header.
