This page is done, but note that I changed it from a block to a template. There was no need for a block. The page can be built without block functionality, and the template will automatically apply since there is a single resources template.

The file name is single-resource.php.

The top image uses the Featured Image of the post.

There is an ACF for the copy overlayed over the top image.

The page is done, you can look at the styling.

Rohan Strydom Rohan I was loading projects but found I needed resources - long story short, there's a number of resource types in the design - I want to load a blog - so I add a resource type "blog" and then go into resources and add new + select blog? It feels like something is missing to guide this process along Types of resources:

Please let me know if you still need to do something here or if I can keep going?

Yes that template does not seem to be completed.

You can see there is a Resource Type you can add to the Resource. Do that, so for instance add a Resource Type = Blog.

I will update the template. It does not cater for Resource Types yet.

On Resources, we need:
  • a field for Year
  • a field for associated Projects

Hi Laura Hurley, Designer, UX and Engagement Specialist at Matogen Digital Laura

I am missing something. When I look at https://xd.adobe.com/view/3cd9bca9-889d-46bf-97e0-b2993538211b-698a/screen/81ea2021-40b8-4db1-91a6-9aacbc7968cd/, I don't see anything about associated projects. Can you clarify that for me please; where exactly are the associated projects supposed to show?

The year was removed, because Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian   decided we would sort by date, but will not have a Year field. If I remember correctly the thinking was that this date sort field probably slipped in from an old design, without considering if it fits in here.

Hey Rohan Strydom Rohan

On Friday Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn , Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian and I had a look at the resources and they need to pull through on the projects pages (see here). For the Arua team, who would be regularly uploading resources, they would have to create a new resource post each time and then go into each project after the fact to tag the resource in that project which makes for a clunky experience and leaves room for error. Project will not likely be uploaded on a regular basis

Regarding the year - If I'm correct, you are referring to the News posts being sorted by date, however, resources will need a year field, as some will be uploaded after the fact.

Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian and Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn , can you please confirm? Thanks
Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital perfect!
