add a written optional pop up  welcome message when users click on the first story


The message will be in English only and will read as follows:


Welcome to the Storytime with Shine site where you can read and listen to stories. We hope some of the stories are in the language you speak at home and school. If you are a parent or caregiver we have added questions that will encourage more discussions and help your child better understand the stories. Visit our Parental Information tab under the 'Things to do' section for more information on how to read stories to children.

You can also listen to the stories by clicking on the white triangle under each story title. In some stories you will hear "turn the page" and that means you need to click the orange button to move to the next page. Other stories will just turn the pages for you! Take time to look at the pictures too.

We hope you enjoy the stories and keep coming back and telling others about Storytime with Shine. Happy storytime! 



I hope adding this pop up message, which people can click away if they don't want to read (or it disappears after a few seconds if they don't click it) will be easier than adding the audio clips we originally asked for. I realise this may change the quote but I'm hoping it might be easier and more cost effective.

  Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian   Dylan Clark, Developer at Matogen Digital Dylan   am making sure I don't overcommit and say the wrong thing but this task feels very important and works with the overall time stamps - I assume we have not had a "turn the page" book yet and I am also not sure how this fits in with the auto turn the page on the timestamp task

Maurita also asked where the audio is so I am dealing with heavy confusion on their end that I am trying to fix - please let me know if there's anything I need to be wary of

Robyn, Project Manager at Matogen Digital Robyn I didn't make much progress with the popup. The library is installed, but that's about it. 

So auto turn functionality shouldn't be too tough to implement. The popup, I can't say for sure right now. Will need to look at it
