Create the timestamps for books on the site already and add a feature that turns the pages automatically for those stories - start with two stories in other languages that needs to be shared with the client for testing (we need to test that we can handle the languages )


Good morning colleagues


Please find attached the list of books that need timestamps. These are the books that are on the site as of today and don't have the vocal instructions to turn the page.


There are:


143 English stories


30 Xhosa stories


26 Afrikaans stories


13 Zulu stories


9 French stories


2 Setswana stories and 3 Sepedi stories


1 Multilingual story


Total: 224 stories


Please refer to this list only as we are going to start uploading stories with new audio from today, which include the turn the page instruction. Note that the wordless books do not have audio and do not need timestamps or automatic page turning technology.

I made it all due by Friday but we have next week as a buffer by which point all the Shine tasks should be completed

Moved the due date to the last possible day as this ticket is very time consuming and tedious. The issues with staging are not making it any easier

Dylan Clark, Developer at Matogen Digital Dylan I am having an inconsistent experience - some I need to push the play button, some just start and don't wait for the kid to turn the page as some of the Afrikaans books have that built in but we were also supposed to make the pages turn automatically which isnt working  - lets chat in standup tomorrow - I checked a couple of Afrikaans books and It's a beautiful day and its not working - I have set up time with you tomorrow so I can hopefully assist with the timestamps. Of course, I might be missing something but let me know please
