Thanks Laura Hurley, Designer, UX and Engagement Specialist at Matogen Digital Laura  I am scratching my head about why this one would have less open rates vs the last one - perhaps because SMS is a known channel that's been around for a long time ? AI is topical but as we discussed when we were planning this newsletter, we cannot be a one trick AI pony haha - real pity / downer to have such low open rates however, will be a good test for us to see what next month delivers - its going to be a challenge coming up with something fresh and new every month seeing as Gikko is not coming up with new offers that are aligned to what is happening in the world but rather the same offer - the exception which possibly needs to be a huge focus is the SALT api stuff where upskilling is necessary (for our marketing and us!)

Yeah! A bit disappointing for sure... Winston mentioned in a voice note to me that he would like the next mailer to focus heavily on the API security tool, as they seem to be getting quite a bit of traction on that. So, we can spend some time leading up finding nuggets in this space to make the mailer worth while.
