 I am busy with IIB content and wondering about Iubenda - we didn't offer it to DS, MSI  or IIB but we did it for GEMS - the privacy link at the bottom of DSI does not work - what is the exposure here and is this something we need to worry about?

Alternatively I could style the section away. However they did have a warning that if you styled out "Powered by Curator.io" they would cancel your account. I am unsure if it would be the same consequence if I made changes like that to the grid itself

I did a lot of digging now. It does say the Instagram post will refresh in 13 hours. That being said I cannot find anything to remove the likes and comments. If I try and copy cfans you will need a business account.

  • The image in the catch up on latest news at the bottom of each page is rather large and it would be better viewed if it were not as tall (I think it is fine at that width, just maybe a few inches tall, much like the header images).

Thanks David. Just to note - the password field is mandatory when creating a new account, but on these sites, login is managed by UMN's single signon application. So, Leah will also sign in using her UMN account and do 2FA with Duo

: I updated the images on the home banner to be the same as DEV. I am not sure if that is what you were referring to in the email you sent to Hayley and Leah. I didn't have full context. 

I was getting heavy caching on the site. A lot of the issues have resolved for me. Some of the news pages are still cached but not all.

I will go through the site in the morning again to see if there is anything else I might of missed.

  • Events calendar - we have left it as is because we are out of time and the drop down option is not working well from a user experience. It's going to take time to come up with a new way so we can look at this again once you have had a look and if it's not a dealbreaker, it can fall into a next phase of work

Okay from my side. I added a check to see if a pdf is present. If not it wont show the download area. I just pushed it to DEV so it will take about 10min and then cache will need to be cleared . I asked the question because I noticed that April did not have a PDF yet and we wont want the download to show if there is nothing to click. Also If the user forget to add a PDF we have a fail safe 😊

Yes same for me. I disabled it and enabled it again. Unfortunately when I enable and disable I have to give it a start time in the future. the closest time I could get is 15:30. I am going to see if it starts in 15:30.

 I've set up the integration between the DSI webform and the data extension. I changed some of the field names on the data extension to match with the keys on the form. You might need to adjust your journeys with this in mind

 I see there is an admin notification email handler on the Get in touch form on the live site. I'm not sure why that isn't on dev, but it would be great if you can copy that across. 

We don't need email handlers on the Request Assistance form, as that will be handled on Salesforce

I am done with my haystack of testing and cleared out most of the DSI stuff assigned to me except this form build, which I'll start now: Create the Join our Directory form and link to the page - DSI PHASE 2

  am having more issues - DSI have created google sites to host some of the events while they wait for us - see here - https://sites.google.com/umn.edu/dsi-srw-2024/home  My issues - the keynote speaker into is not an intro but rather a whole write up about the person that does not fit into our design - should I just shorten it and link to this site even though I believe its temporary? And the Agenda - there's an abbreviated version and a long version - I can flag with Hayley but what do you think?

I've set up the following for Events:
- Event content type. Please load a couple of events to confirm the fields are working as expected. Note:
  - You can add multiple dates to an event (useful in case an event is recurring)
  - On the design, there's an h2 section for an intro. Please use the summary on the body field for this
- Event view, here: https://dsi.dev.umn.edu/events
  - Once you start loading posts you'll see this populating.

 if you're running out of tasks here, you can replicate the content type and paragraphs I created on your local, if you want to get started on laying out the single event template. I think I'll pause here for now, so that I can pull the database with all of the stuff I did on dev onto Local. I will then tackle the Event view first thing in the morning.

 please can I ask that you push the changes you have worked on to staging - maybe tomorrow? I want to see if we have gaps. I am out tomorrow so would only look at this on Thursday but would appreciate that this is ready for me to check when I get back on Thursday - we have a chat with Hayley so if we need to push the timeline further than the 22nd I would like to chat to her about in person vs sending her an email next week.  We had a demo but I'd like to start comparing with the prototype to know how much work is left to do - we have the content coming in from Hayley so once on staging we can start adding the content and make sure it all comes together.  We still need time to test too so please let me know what's possible - thanks!

– You'll see I've combined the post templates for the different events and the Community corner posts into one. The idea would be to have one template for all. But we might need to do a bit of training around how to get those templates working for the different contexts, i.e. Hayley may need to select the fields she wants from a dropdown for the various posts she creates. Is that ideal?
On the directory, I've included an External Link icon to help users understand the flow.
