📈 CLHSS technical chat with team 12 June 2024

  • New site or is it considered a revamp of the old site? We have some technical enhancements from an SEO audit perspective so need to know if these need to be applied to the current set up or kept in mind for the new build 
  • Team profiles were mentioned as a concern - how does this currently work for the Medical school and what do we need to keep in mind 
  • Contact forms - is there anything we need to consider? We have built many forms for MSI so do let us know?
  • Anything else noteworthy to keep in mind for the new site?

Main points: 
  • Everything we talked about can most likely be accomplished on the existing site, so no need for them to rebuild
  • The medical school has a fixed set of components that extends beyond Folwell.
  • If there are any designs that go beyond this, we'll need to go through multiple approval steps within the medical school to get it built. 
I think we can now continue with finalising the site structure and doing layouts in XD. I think we can add value by tagging content with the components we'll need to use for each one, and also tagging views, taxonomies, etc.
