Rohan, I'm not sure if we should add this as a block as well. The alternative is to extend the conditional logic for the home page. 

So: 
if ( is_front_page() ) {
  display_header_and_logo($featured_image;$logo);
}

Ian Parsons, Head Chef at Matogen Digital Ian  I am not sure what this means. From the XD designs it seems to me all pages will have a header and logo? What am I missing here?

Hi Rohan Strydom Rohan - it's specifically on mobile view, where the home page header image has a big logo on it. The header image is also a bit bigger on the home page, but I can handle this with CSS. Screenshot below.
