It looks like your website is being targeted by bad actors. I've received a report from the email sending service we are using on your website about spam emails. When I looked into it, I saw that there are lots of new accounts being created, and people requesting to reset their password. 

Would it be ok for me to spend a bit of time investigating this a bit more, and putting in place some additional protections? I recently did a similar exercise for another website, and their bill came to about R5 000.

I wonder if this is what is behind me getting weird Gmail reports saying that my emails are not being delivered, due to my limit of 500 emails per day being reached (! which even I in my love of email never achieve!).

My understanding was that we already did a security upgrade in 2021-2022, but if this is being compromised, yes, we need to tackle it.
